So I realize that my blogging could use some kind of order… but it doesn’t… so here goes another update on the adoption process.
Kev and I are still actively perusing adding another child to our already wonderful family. We have been working with and agency by the name of Spaulding for the past year or so. They are helping us adopt from foster. It’s been such a journey. Derek and Ty have been right along for the ride and they understand how many changes we can expect along with the many joys and the enormous hard work that will be ahead in order to have everyone adjust to all the changes. We are excited and anxious. We have submitted for several children. Some sibling groups. We have learned that some groups have slipped from our fingers but we are not ready to give up anytime soon. We pray and hope that our kiddos make their way home soon and that for now, although they can’t be by our side, that they are safe until they can come home. If you’re reading this, maybe a little prayer on your behalf would help too 🙂
We love our family and hope to expand it soon…
Currently… it’s May… so many things are happening. Ty has his Kinder Graduation coming up on May 20th. Derek has a project on the state of Mississippi due this Friday. Cub Scout troop has a camping trip scheduled on May 20th as well! Yikes! Danny graduates Jun 8th!!!! My baby bro… all grown up! Sheri graduates June 18th!!! She’s all grown up too!!! What a year!
